Antique 1891 James Fenimore Cooper Works Seven Volume Blue Gilt Book Set

Antique seven-volume grouping from The Works of James Fenimore Cooper, published in New York by P. F. Collier in 1891. Bound in stunning deep blue cloth with gold gilt spine lettering and decorative detailing, these illustrated books make an authentic 19th-century library display.

This incomplete grouping includes Volumes 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. Volumes 2, 3 and 7 are not included. A Johannesburg Public Library stamp appears inside.

The books show antique wear, including staining and scuffs, faded gilt, frayed spine ends and corners, foxing, spotting and slight binding or hinge damage. Still display beautifully, have wonderful illustrations, and are quite heavy and quality in make. Please review all photographs closely.
