A magnificent vintage Herend cachepot in the celebrated Rothschild Bird pattern. Hand painted in Hungary, this substantial porcelain piece features a textured basketweave body, gently scalloped rim with gold detailing and sculptural pale green branch handles accented with soft pink.

Each side presents a different scene of colorful birds perched among delicate branches and foliage. Hand-painted butterflies and insects decorate the exterior, with additional tiny insects scattered throughout the interior. The generous proportions and beautifully detailed decoration make this an exceptional centerpiece for a dining table, mantel, console or curated display.
